Miss World 2016 Pageant - Promotional Video
Last night, viewers tuned in to watch the final night of competition for the Miss World pageant. Women from all over the globe competed for the title with only one woman walking away with the crown. This marks the first time in Miss World history that the pageant was hosted in America.
The lucky young lady to walk away with the Miss World 2016 crown was Miss Puerto Rico, Stephanie Del Valle.

Del Valle is a 19-year-old communication studies student. She speaks three languages, Spanish, French and English, and someday hopes to make her way into the entertainment world. She is currently studying at Pace University in New York.
Before the competition, Stephanie used her Instagram page to promote herself. She referred to herself as a perfectionist and someone who doesn’t like to follow trends. She also told fans that she loves to learn songs on the guitar, and she knows the entire soundtrack and script to the movie School of Rock by heart.
Del Valle’s evening gown was a stunning pink tulle gown with a cut-out bodice and a plunging neckline. The gown also featured many jewels. (Read:

"Stephanie definitely stood out among the rest with her evening gown selection," Brittanie said. "It was gorgeous in motion on stage and the pink was perfect with her skin tone. She made a mark on the Miss World stage and it's something the judges noticed as well."
The 2
nd Runner-up to Miss World was Miss Indonesia, Natasha Mannuela. Stephanie’s 1
st Runner-up was Miss Dominican Republic, Yaritza Reyes. Del Valle became the second woman from Puerto Rico to win the Miss World title. The last winner from the country was Wilnelia Merced in 1975.
