About Sandusky County Fair Queen Pageants

--Must be participants at the 2021 Sandusky County Junior Fair
--Each contestant should be of high moral standard and not have been married. The ladies cannot be pregnant nor may the contestants have a child/children. Underage drinking and/or drugs will not be tolerated. If the contestant violates any of these provisions after being named King/Queen or court, they will relinquish their title.
--If the King or Queen is unable to complete their term, the title will pass to the next immediate runner-up of the contest commencing with the first runner-up.
--Contestants will participate in an interview at the Junior Fair Building on the fairgrounds at least one week prior to contest. Interview times and other information will be sent to each entrant.
--During the ceremony at the fairgrounds, each Junior Fair King/Queen candidate will be introduced and asked an impromptu question.
--The King and Queen will be announced during that 6:30 pm ceremony on August 24, 2021 in the Log Cabin Area
--The King and Queen (and court, if named) must be present for specified events during the week of the fair.
--Check with the Junior Fair Office for schedules.
--Scoring - Refer to the Junior Fair book. G
--Business attire will be appropriate for the interview. (Ladies – Dress or Suit; Gentlemen - dress slacks, shirt & tie). Semi-formal dress would be appropriate for the evening ceremony (Ladies - formal dresses; Gentlemen - suit & tie).
--Those selected as King and Queen or named to the court have made a commitment to the Junior Fair. They need to be available to assist and preside over various activities taking place during the fair and throughout the year. You will be responsible for community activities and these activities will be voted on as a group. Failure to fulfill these requirements will result in disqualification.
--Appropriate attire must be worn during those events, including sashes and crown. Remember you are a representative of the Sandusky County Fair.
--Failure to make your arranged interview on time or failure to follow the above guidelines will be an automatic disqualification.
