About Miss Kern County Pageant, Scholarship Organization
The Miss Kern County Pageant was established in 1918. The "Kern County Pageant" is a community based pageant serving "Kern County" with the mission of furthering the educational goals of women and girls in Kern County. The Kern County pageant is a platinum member of the California Legacy Pageant Productions. This year, the Miss Kern County Pageant is Celebrating 104 Years! "Working Beyond the Crown" Our service is our legacy.
Our mission is to encourage and elevate women through personal growth by furthering the education of women in our community through
Faith, Family, Education, Service, Philanthrapy, Community.
The Organization focuses on giving back to the local community through outreach by building and maintaining positive relationships. Partnering with service organizations, businesses, and other community partners to continue making Kern County a great place to live. By uniting and strengthening our communities through advocacy and education that develops a better community and benefits all it's members quality of life.
Miss Kern County is more than a beauty pageant. It is "community." We serve with passion through our hands-on approach. We help organize change through education, community service, philanterpy, faith and family. The Miss Kern County Queens serve for one year by working and making appearances at special functions, participating in community service projects and events throughout Kern County. As community influencers and leaders, we collaborate within the community in order to inspire, promote and create positive social change and a healthy lifestyle that nurtures and develops our community members.
We serve, prepare and advocate for the Kern River Valley and Kern County communities. We are an inclusive program welcoming all women and girls. No matter their journey, their story has value! Married, single, widowed or divorced. Together we rise through service and education which provides a better foundation for our community. "We are Stronger Together"
The Miss Kern County Scholarships are awarded and paid at the completion of High School to further higher education, knowledge is a gift that last a lifetime.
As we enter 2022, the Miss Kern County Organization is committed to serving our community. On behalf of the board of directors, I want to thank you for allowing us to be stewards of the community, and we are here to work for you our Kern County community members.
