About Miss Tip of the Mitt

Miss Tip of the Mitt is an official preliminary competition that leads to the Miss Michigan competition. Below are the basic eligibility requirements shared by all local programs:

Be at least 18 years of age as of July 31st in the calendar year of the State Competition.
Be at least a high school graduate or equivalent as of July 31st in the calendar year of the State Competition.
Be no older than 25 on December 31st in the calendar year of the State Competition.
Be single, never been married.
Live, work full time, or attend school full time in Michigan.
Be a U.S. Citizen.
Meet all eligibility requirements and character criteria as set forth by the Miss America Organization.
Be able to meet the time commitment and responsibilities as set forth by the local program in which you compete.
Be able to meet the time commitment and responsibilities as set forth by the Miss Michigan program should you win the title of Miss Michigan.
