In 1958, the Mrs. Florida sisterhood welcomed a new titleholder when Bobby Jo Walker was crowned Mrs. Florida 1958. She represented Florida at the Mrs. America 1958 pageant! Bobby Jo won the title while competing with 48 other married women from the state of Florida. Additionally, she represented the Mrs. America Organization as Mrs. Florida 1958 throughout her reign and receive a prize package selected by the Mrs. Florida Organization.
Bobby Jo not only won the crown in May 1958, she walked away with a brand new dishwasher!
