Sarah Marie Blanton was Ms. Texas United States 2015 and is currently Ms Texas America 2018. She has been very blessed to work with many charitable and sports organizations in her broad career. She was the PR and Marketing Manager for the Harris County Houston Sports Authority where she acted as PR Manager for the Rotary Lombardi Awards for 2014 / 2015, PR and Media Adviser for the SWAC Basketball and Football Championships, and PR Manager for the Olympic Worlds event for Weightlifting. Sarah had an exciting career in broadcasting working for ClearChannel radio where she once covered the Cleveland Indians Spring Training and was the first female pit-lane reporter for Champ Car Racing on ESPN and SpeedTV. Since winning her title, Sarah has hosted the Houston Lymphoma Walk, was a special guest judge for the Houston relay for Life “ Mr Relay” contest, sang the National Anthem over 30 times for events including the 2015 NCAA Men’s Regional Basketball game and for the Houston Astros. Sarah’s fondest memory is getting to meet George and Barbara Bush and working with the Wade Smith Foundation. During her reign, she focuses on military support by singing at many Lone Survivor Foundation events and raised $10,000 for Boots For Troops. Sarah has a wonderful relationship with World Youth Foundation in Houston which finds children to participate in her foundation, DREAMS ARE REALITY. Sarah created DREAMS ARE REALITY to benefit the future of neglected, homeless, foster or orphaned children in the United States. Partnering with athletes, sports venues and community organizations DRR hosts children with once-in-a-lifetime experiences. The Foundation promotes that DREAMS ARE REALITY and reveals to children their importance to our community.
