Olivia Herbert has been crowned Miss Minnesota Teen USA 2019, becoming the second girl in her family to win a state USA title. In 2011 her cousin Britneeany Thelemann won Miss Minnesota USA 2011.
Olivia herself is no stranger to pageants, after being Miss Teen Minnesota International 2018 and competing at Miss Teen International in West Virginia last year. At Miss Teen International she managed to place as the second Runner-up! 2019 was her second year competing for the Teen State title, in 2018 she competed and placed in the top 14.
After winning the title of Miss Minnesota Teen USA 2019, Olivia was asked by a local new station what the first thing she will be doing after winning, she responded: "Call my grandmas and eat a whole lot of ice cream and meeting all her sister queens".
Throughout her reign she will work with her platform, Autoimmune Disease awareness, sharing her struggle with Hashimoto disorder. Autoimmune Diseases are the number one cause of most un-diagnosed illnesses and she hopes to help find a cure.
She is also an Ambassador for Global Leadership Adventures, an International volunteer program for teens, that helps children in Thailand and Guatemala to name just a few locations.
