Ki’ilani Arruda is an honor roll senior in high school with a 4.00 GPA and is Student Body President. After obtaining a degree in molecular and cellular biology in college, she plans to continue her education at Stanford Medical School to become a dermatologist.
Ki'ilani is a varsity member of the volleyball, swim, and track and field teams. Growing up on the Garden Island of Kaua’i, Ki’ilani enjoys spending her free time outside at the beach, hiking, and gardening. Inspired by her brother, she is an advocate for autism awareness and hopes we can build a world that is accepting and inclusive for all people.
In 2019, Ki'ilani Arruda competed at the Miss Hawaii Teen USA 2020 pageant where she won the crown, walked away with the title of Miss Hawaii Teen USA 2020, and received the opportunity to advance to the Miss Teen USA 2020 pageant. On November 7, 2020 Ki'ilani won the crown of Miss Teen USA 2020, becoming Hawaii's second Miss Teen USA!
