Kayla Repasky is Miss Pennsylvania 2018 and is originally from Gettysburg, PA. Before she was crowned Miss Pennsylvania, she held the title of Miss Greater Carlisle. She is a student majoring in Nursing at the University of Alabama and hopes to be a Nurse Anesthetist some day.

Repasky has been dancing since she was three years old and graced the Miss Pennsylvania stage with a contemporary dance routine to “Every Breath You Take.”

“Think First America” is the title of Repasky’s platform and the name of the non-profit organization that she started. Repasky strives to promote internet positivity and educate children on how to use the internet responsibly. She has also published a children’s book entitled, “Buddy and the Bully.”

Repasky has been awarded several awards for her efforts including the Daily Point of Light Award #6292, President’s Volunteer Service Award, and has been designated a Champion Organization with Pacer’s National Bullying Prevention Center.

As Miss Pennsylvania 2018, Repasky will serve as an ambassador for the Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals and will represent her state in the 2018 Miss America Pageant in September.

She has won $17,800 in scholarships during her time with the Miss Pennsylvania Organization. She is a sister of the University of Alabama’s chapter of Alpha Phi. She received her formative years of dance training at the Hanover Children’s Ballet Theatre and Company. She has performed on the Beauty and the Beast Stage in Walt Disney World. She published a children’s book “Buddy and the Bully” to help parents and educators teach kindness and discuss bullying to young children. She has raised $20,000 to support community anti-bullying initiatives and helped establish the Bryan Doll Memorial Fund. She created the Think Before You Post Girl Scout patch program. She is a member of the Phi Sigma Theta Honor Society and the Order of Omega.
