Kailyn Perez is Miss Pennsylvania USA 2019! She was also Miss Florida World 2015 and Miss Tampa Bay USA 2017 and is no stranger to pageantry!
In 2013, Perez competed in the Miss Florida USA 2014 pageant and placed as 3rd Runner-up. Encouraged by her strong placement, Perez returned in 2014 and competed in the Miss Florida USA 2015 pageant. She placed 1st Runner-up.
In 2015, she competed in the Miss World America pageant as Miss Florida World 2015. Perez placed in the Top 12 at Miss World America 2015.
In 2016, Perez returned to the Miss USA stage when she competed for Miss Florida USA 2017 and placed as 3rd runner-up. Once again, she returned to the Miss Florida USA stage in 2017 to compete for the Miss Florida USA 2018 title. She placed as the 4th runner-up. In 2018, she competed for and won the Miss Pennsylvania USA 2019 pageant and the opportunity to represent Pennsylvania at Miss USA 2019.
Miss Perez, daughter of Norma Torretta and granddaughter of Dr. and Mrs. Lazaro Hernandez, was born and raised in Tampa, FL attending the Academy of the Holy Names School and graduating from the University of Central Florida with Cum Laude Honors. She is a former ballerina and during undergrad, she danced professionally with the Orlando Ballet Company. She recently graduated from law school and is a Juris Doctor. She attended Stetson University College of Law on a scholarship. She also has a pretty extensive modeling career that includes walking the runway for the prestigious Mercedes- Benz International Fashion Week and for some of the top international designers while also walking the runway for Neiman Marcus and Nordstrom Shows and making regular appearances for the Home Shopping Network (HSN), Bloomingdales, Orlando Fashion Week and Miami Fashion week.She booked a guest position on the Home Shopping Network (HSN). She is sponsored by bombshell fitness, who will help on her road to Miss USA.
