Kadie Latimer won Miss Montana USA 2014.
Kadie considers herself the definition of a "true Montana girl". She was born in Libby, MT and raised in Kalispell. Growing up, Kadie was pushed by her two sisters to be the best she could be. Kadie's dad was a girls head basketball coach for 25 years, which instilled hard work and dedication in her from a young age. At the age of 8, Kadie and her sister competed for the Elks National Hoop Shoot Contest, being the first siblings to compete from MT and making it to nationals in Massachusetts. In high school, she was a four sport athlete playing volleyball, basketball, track, and softball during the summer. Kadie was diagnosed with a skin condition, known as psoriasis, at the age of 16. Her condition sparked her interest in skincare. After high school she became a Medical Aesthetician and one day envisions creating her own skin care line.
About the dress
The winner of Miss Montana USA 2014, Kadie Latimer, wore a black velvet drop-waist gown with blue embellishments that fell over the bust line and off the shoulders. It fit her like a glove and made her look statuesque. The sweet shape of this gown really lends to her height and her figure, showing both off in the best kind of way. The straps have almost an icicle affect, with the way they hang off of her shoulders and it's very unique. This year’s Miss Montana USA is on fire with her gown. It truly was a HIT and seeing how she rocked this classy and elegant look makes me enthusiastic to see her gown at the Miss USA competition.
