Josie Stephens is a 24 year old understudy at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette majoring in Chemical Engineering and minoring in BioProcess engineering, chemistry, and mathematics. Josie appreciates advancing her stage of bringing issues to light for invisible illnesses, and has been worked intently with the IDA (Invisible Disabilities Association of America). She battles with Crohn's ailment every day and has been battling with it from an extremely young age. Josie wants to inspire others to share their stories, specifically children facing adversity.
Josie's first pageant was Miss Louisiana Teen USA 2012 and she placed in the top 10.
In 2015 she was crowned Miss Teen Lousiana United States, she went on to compete in the Miss Teen United States pageant in D.C. where she placed in the top 10.
In 2017 she was crowned Miss Lafayette USA and went on to compete in Miss Louisiana USA 2018 where she placed in the top 10.
In 2018 she was crowned Miss Baton Rouge USA and went on to compete in Miss Louisiana USA 2019 where she placed in the top 10.
In 2019 she competed in Miss Louisiana USA 2020 where she was 2nd runner up.
