A music aficionado, model, and creative talent, originally from Baltimore, I have lived in several places along the East Coast, as well as, Los Angeles, and now call New York home ...for now.

I hope to provide the gift of visual stimulation through my artistic expressions. As an only child, I had plenty of time to create scenes inside my mind and it is that knack for the imaginative that has manifested into a need to express myself in a tangible form.

With a degree in Broadcast Journalism, Music Business and Industries and Art History from the University of Miami I’ve since explored these daydreams in several outlets such as MTV International's, "MTV Video Love," and Madamenoire's "Ask a Black Woman," in addition to contributions as a journalist to media outlets like Cox Media Group, "Hollywood Life" and Moguldom Media Group that services, "Bossip" and "Madamenoire." You can also find me in modeling campaigns for brands such as Rimmel London US and Bumble and Bumble.

While I enjoy being in front of the camera you can also find me behind one, producing and creating content or helping spread the word of the non- profit organization I co founded, Women with Voices.

A lover of all things Stevie Nicks, Janet Jackson, and Buffy the Vampire Slayer (clearly, I have a thing for a strong female lead), you can probably find me binge watching Netflix while eating french fries :)

Why start competing in pageants

In order to continue my initiative of mental health on a local and national level, I have chosen to compete in the Miss Black America pageant. This organization is giving me the opportunity to expand my current outreach efforts through Women with Voices a 501 C3 organization based in the greater New York City where I serve as a founding board member and facilitate the implementation of outreach programming. If I win Miss Black America it would enable me to continue my community service efforts as a celebrity ambassador for mental health awareness and further promote women's empowerment through Women with Voices. The Miss Black America Pageant was created to combat the negative portrayal of black women in the media, as Miss Black America I would be able to represent women of color in a positive light in media and entertainment.
