Jennifer enjoys all dance forms, especially jazz, salsa, and hip hop. She also enjoys cheerleading, which she competed in during high school and college, as well as a semi-finalist for the Denver Broncos Cheerleaders.
My current platform is #AllysforSurvivors. I am working with lawmakers and local groups to promote awareness of domestic violence and applicable tools for witnesses of domestic violence.
Jennifer was a math teacher in Denver, CO for four years and in Ogden & Layton, UT for three years. She is a clinical social work intern for the Salt Lake City school district through Valley Behavioral Health.
Jennifer has graduated with a Bachelor in Psychology from the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs, a graduate certificate in Secondary Mathematics from Denver Teach Today, and is in her final year in the Master of Social Work program at the University of Denver. She is an AmeriCorps and Phi Sigma Sigma alumni.
Jennifer started to compete in pageants because she wanted to have a platform to become a social justice advocate for those who do not have a voice.
