Hannah Brown was crowned Miss Alabama USA 2018 on November 4, 2017, at the Montgomery Performing Arts Center in Montgomery, Alabama. She represented her home state at the 2018 Miss USA pageant.
A native of Northport, Brown represented West Alabama at her state pageant. She first began competing at the age of fifteen with the Miss Alabama’s Outstanding Teen Organization. She later went on to place as the 2nd runner up at Miss Alabama Teen USA 2011. Moving on to the Miss America Organization, Brown went on to hold the title of Miss Tuscaloosa 2013 and represented Tuscaloosa at the Miss Alabama 2013 pageant. In 2015, she returned to the Miss Alabama pageant stage as Miss Steel City 2015.
Brown holds a Bachelor’s degree in communications and information sciences. She graduated from the University of Alabama Magna Cum Laude in 2017.
On May 21, 2018, Brown competed for the title of Miss USA 2018. During this pageant, held in Shreveport, Louisiana, Brown was roommates with Miss North Carolina USA 2018, Caelynn Miller-Keyes. Brown did not place at the national pageant.
Brown was featured as a contestant on Season 23 of The Bachelor, a dating reality show. Her former roommate at Miss USA 2018, Miller-Keyes, was also a contestant on the show. Brown came in 7th place during the show. On March 12, 2019, it was announced that Brown would appear on The Bachelorette, a spin-off of The Bachelor, as the 15th Bachelorette. Her season premiered on May 13, 2019 and she became the talk of national news after she admitted to having premarital sex, telling one of the contestants that, "Jesus still loves me." In the end of the season, she broke off her engagement with Jedd Wyatt after finding out that he has a girlfriend while filming the Bachelorette.
In 2019, she was a contestant on Dancing With the Stars and won a People's Choice Award.
