Her onstage question at the Miss North Carolina USA 2018. pageant was, “Once you are crowned Miss North Carolina USA, what is the most important appearance that you would like to schedule and why?”
She said, "I told an audience full of people that the first and most important call I’d make was to Sally Ganz at Dress for Success Charlotte. It’s an organization that, among other things, provides business attire to women who can’t afford it so that they can interview for jobs. True to my word, my first call (...ok, it was an email) after my win was to Sally Ganz at @dfscharlotte so that I could spend my year partnering with an organization that is special to me."
