On November 25, 2018, Catherine Stanley was crowned Miss Minnesota USA 2019, winning a place in the Miss USA 2019 pageant, which she is now preparing for. This will not be Catherine's first time on a USA system nation stage as in 2014 Catherine represented Minnesota on the Miss Teen USA 2014 stage, however, she did not place at nationals.
Just before the Miss Minnesota USA 2019 competition, Catherine posted on her social media, “Wow time flies. That girl doesn’t even look like me! Five years ago I was crowned Miss Minnesota Teen USA and this weekend I’ll be competing for the title of Miss Minnesota USA. I don’t know what I did to deserve the opportunity to be apart of such an amazing organization but I feel very (for the lack of a better word) blessed. This weekend five years ago absolutely changed my life in so many positive ways and so needless to say I’m PUMPED for this year’s competition.”
Catherine is currently majoring in pre-medical Biology at Baylor University.
During this year Catherine will devote all her energy to empowering women, her Miss USA platform for her reign. Catherine wants ladies who have had a difficult time overcome those struggles to become a stronger woman in the future.
