Money $heep’s goal is to help youth build a financial foundation. About two years ago I founded this organization and have since incorporated it as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. I have authored two children’s book: Mr. Money $heep; Mr. Money $heep and the Financial Foes. Last year I partnered with over 20 regional businesses to donate 10,000 copies of Mr. Money $heep to youth throughout SD, MN, and IA.

Miss South Dakota 2006 was from my hometown. She came to the local county 4-H fashion review, and I was immediately captivated by her poise and grace. I was so shy as a kid, but somehow she convinced me to compete for Miss South Dakota Outstanding Teen. After my first year, I fell in love with this program and the opportunities it gave me to make myself better, while impacting my community.
Wintle has won $25,150 in scholarships during her time with the Miss South Dakota Organization. She is the third former Miss South Dakota's Outstanding Teen to go on to win the Miss South Dakota title. She is a published author and wrote the children’s book, “Mr. Money $heep,” which is aimed at grades third through fifth. The book is centered on the five foundations of financial literacy: budgeting, saving, income, loans/debt and investment risk. She has completed internships with the prestigious accounting firm, KPMG. Wintle grew up on a sixth generation family farm in the heart of SD. As a kid, she was obsessed with animals. She is a self proclaimed “cat lady.” Her cat, Candice, is the true queen.
