Harris was born and raised in Lee, Maine. She is the daughter of Randy and Patricia Harris. Growing up, she attended Lee Academy where she graduated in the Top 5 of her class. During her time, she was involved with the music program, civil rights, theatre and Student Council where she served as her class Vice President.
Having an Athletic Director as her father, Harris was also heavily involved in sports. She was a member of her high school’s soccer, cross country, basketball and softball teams. She was inducted into Lee Academy’s Athletic Hall of Fame in 2014.
After graduating from high school, Harris attend the University of Maine at Fort Kent. While there, she continued playing sports on both the university’s soccer and basketball teams, winning the USCAA Women’s National Soccer Championship in 2013. She was also a member of the Student Nursing Organization and served as the Student Activities Coordinator. She graduated cum laude with her Bachelors of Science in Nursing.
In 2013, Harris began her pageant journey when she entered the 2014 Miss Maine USA and Miss Maine Teen USA as a Miss contestant. She was named a semi-finalist, placing in the Top 10.
In 2014, Harris returned to compete in the 2015 Miss Maine USA and Miss Maine Teen USA pageant as a Miss contestant. She made the Top 5 and placed as second runner-up.
In 2015, Harris entered the 2016 Miss Maine USA and Miss Maine Teen USA pageant as a Miss contestant. She once again made the Top 5, ultimately placing as first runner-up.
In 2016, Harris returned for a fourth time to compete at the 2017 Miss Maine USA and Miss Maine Teen USA pageant. Harris was crowned Miss Maine USA 2017 on November 27, 2016 at the Marriott Sable Oaks located in Portland, Maine.
Harris then went on to represent Maine at the 2017 Miss USA pageant. She went unplaced in the competition.
Today, Harris currently resides in Portland, Maine. She plans to attend graduate school to earn her Doctorate and become a Certified Nurse-Midwife with dreams of one day opening her own women’s birthing center.
