What contestant hasn’t gone into local business after business and tried to raise funds for their next pageant?

If you’ve been there, you know that it takes a full day (or three or four) and at the end of it all, you’re left exhausted and with maybe $50 toward your next pageant. The conversations with business owners are always awkward and uncomfortable. If you haven’t done that, you’ve done the whole mailing letters to local businesses thing.

You take time to write letters, include your photo, get the addresses of local businesses and finally send out the letters. All that effort for little to no sponsorships in return. 

It’s time we change the way we do fundraising. 

Finally, Pageant Planet has come up with a way to avoid those awkward conversations and long days while still giving you the opportunity to raise money for your next pageant or for your favorite charity.

You can raise money through your contestant profile, without ever having to leave your house! The feature works just like GoFundMe and like GoFundMe there is a 0% platform fee. Contestants will only pay 2.9% + $.30 per donation, to cover credit card processing.

But, unlike any other donation site, Pageant Planet has created this feature specifically with contestants in mind.

How do I create a fundraiser on Pageant Planet?

Click here to create a username and password. Then follow the prompts to register yourself as a contestant. Click save and then, if on a mobile device, click filter -> Collect Donations. If you’re on a desktop computer you’ll see “Collect Donations” on the left sidebar. 

How do I get donations?

Pageant Planet makes it easy. After you create a milestone and activate your fundraiser on your contestant profile, you can share the link on social media, via text, on websites, etc. and track your progress.

What can I raise money for?

You can use Pageant Planet to raise money for wardrobe, coaching, nationals, ad pages, charity, platforms, entry fees and anything else you can think of!

How do I withdraw funds from my fundraiser?

You can withdraw funds at the end of any milestone that you set. At the end of each milestone deadline you will receive an email from us. Simply reply to that email to start the withdraw process. 

How quick can I receive the money from my fundraiser?

Pageant Planet processes all payments via check within 24 hours. The checks are issued and mailed via Bank of America and typically take 3-4 business days to arrive. You will receive tracking information on the check when it’s processed. If you would prefer a wire transfer, the cost is between $5 - $45 depending on the country and bank, but the funds are typically received in one business day. 

Is the Pageant Planet fundraising feature free?

There is no charge to host your fundraiser on Pageant Planet. However, there is a standard transaction fee of 2.9% + $.30 per donation, which helps cover credit card processing charges.

Are there any deadlines or time limits for fundraisers?

Nope. You can host a fundraiser for as long as you desire. You set the budget and the timeline.

Am I penalized for not reaching my goal?

No, you are not. You can simply withdraw the money that you did raise, and if you want, you can launch another fundraising campaign to try again!  

What countries can host a fundraiser on Pageant Planet?

Regardless of which country you are from we want to help you achieve your pageant dreams, therefore, all countries are welcome to host fundraisers! Please note that check delivery times will vary per country and all checks are issued in USD. If you would like a wire transfer, the typical cost for an international wire is $45 USD.
