Petite USA Pageant

The Petite USA Pageant was founded by Hazely Lopez-Alvarez in 2009. This pageant serves women 5'6" and less. It serves as the United States' official preliminary for the Miss Universal Petite pageant.

This pageant explains that, "with a vision of serving, Petite USA is more than just a pageant. The Petite USA Family is a sisterhood that embraces healthy competition and a heart to serve others through our leadership and outreach. Each contestant is asked to champion a "Personal Platform" that is near and dear to her heart to encourage leadership, community service, and kindness."

The USA Petite Pageant focus on celebrating the accomplishments of petite women and provides them opportunity to be a voice and spokesmodel for petite women around the United States.

Divisions/age ranges:

Teen: 13-18

Miss: 19-26 (never married, never had children)

Ms: 18+ (unmarried, may have children, may have been previously married)

Mrs: 18+ (Currently married, may or may not have children)

Areas of competition include Interview, Swimsuit (for Teen, Miss & Ms. contestants), Fun Fashion for Mrs. contestants, Evening Gown and On-Stage Question.

If crowned at the national level, USA Petite Teen and USA Petite Miss titleholders will go on to compete internationally at the Miss Universal Petite Pageant!
