For a small pageant this was really well run! Everything stayed on schedule, all events listed took place where we were told they would. Rules and judging criteria were laid out in advance. They really have a family atmosphere about them, all winners, even the optional titles are invited for parades and events throughout the year. There are several ladies and even families that return over the years so it's a very cozy group that is very welcoming, I had expected them to close ranks, but they didn't, they were so inviting to us newbies! The Halloween party was amazing, games, costume contest, taco and dessert bars. They have a single-crowing policy so no one wins more than one title, allowing more girls to be crowned which I loved. There was talent, community service, academic and several other smaller crowns in addition to the age division and overall queens. I got super nervous on my talent as it was my first time performing ever and just forgot the lyrics but everyone was SO supportive, clapping and cheering me on that I stayed on stage to finish because I felt like they really wanted to see me do well.
