About Mr & Miss Capetown

Mr & Miss CAPE TOWN (RSA) 2013 is open to individuals aged 4-26yrs of age, living anywhere in the Western Cape.

This is a search for zestful individuals; the ideal candidates must be confident, intellectual & well groomed. They should have good communication skills and possess leadership qualities. The ultimate characteristic is a humble personality with a passion for making a difference in their community.

The pageant has a new theme annually and is hosted along the lines of Teen Mr & Miss / Miss Port Elizabeth which is now in its 16 year.

The 2013 pageant theme is Mardi Gras!

***Please read through this very important information, so as to be well informed for participation in this pageant. Many of your questions are answered below.

09/03/2013—Interviews/Semi-finals/Top 10 announcement
05 & 06/04/2013 – Choreographed Dance Rehearsal
13/04/2013– Gala Event

Definition of a Philanthropic Pageant: “An illustrious showcase of the most exquisite individuals for the benefit of a charitable cause”.

RoleModels SA’s slogan is “INSPIRING HOPE in the HEART of the COMMUNITY through PURPOSE DRIVEN PAGEANTS”.

The RoleModels South Africa philanthropic pageants are a vehicle from which to make a difference in the lives of destitute people in the community, and a voice for those who cannot speak for themselves. The charity beneficiary is the Rolemodels Foundation (084-422NPO).

Rolemodels Foundation is a charitable association not for gain, registered under current legislation as prescribed by the non profit organisation’s act, Act 7 of 1997, with the Department of Social Development.

By participating in this event, individuals will be supporting a registered charity organization, thereby making a difference in the lives of the poor & destitute in society.

To enter you will need:
- A completed entry form (see attached document)
- R125 entry Fee
- A head & shoulders photograph (PLEASE NOTE! The photo needs to be a quality picture. Cellphone photos are NOT suitable at all! )

The completed entry form, bank proof of payment of entry fee and photograph must be emailed to [email protected] by NO LATER than 6 March 2013.

NO modeling / pageant experience is required; the finalists selected will be trained, free of charge, by RoleModels SA in the lead up to the crowning gala event.

Clothing Requirements:

Interviews: A semi casual outfit
Semi-Finals : Denim Jeans with the T-shirt, dependant on the age category and thus the following colour:

4-6yrs – PINK T-shirt / Top
7-9yrs – GREEN T-shirt / Top
10-12yrs – RED T-shirt / Top
13-16yrs – WHITE T-shirt / Top
17-19yrs – PURPLE T-shirt / Top
