About Miss Teen Northern Cheyenne
Founded in 2018, Miss Teen Northern Cheyenne is a native American tribal pageant. The young ladies competing have to be of the Cheyenne descent, they have to know their cultural knowledge, Skills and most important language.
More then just a Beauty pageant, The Miss Teen Northern Cheyenne Pageant is a competitions series of contests over 3 days. The young women are tested on their knowledge and skills within the traditions of the Cheyenne Nation stories and skills. the biggest aspect of the competitions is the Language. The Cheyenne language is important throughout the competition, contestants are asked a series of questions in the Cheyenne language. another aspect of the competition is the traditional Talent presentations. The young ladies have to present a chosen Talent that is relevant to the Cheyenne Nation. this is so very important because it encourages our young ladies to not only learn their cultural teachings and skills but to also pass on to the next generation of Cheyenne people.
