About Miss Sedgwick County

Miss Sedgwick County & Miss Sedgwick County’s Outstanding Teen is an official preliminary pageant to the Miss Kansas & Miss Kansas Outstanding Teen pageants. Each year, two winners are chosen to represent Miss Sedgwick County at the Miss Kansas and Miss Kansas Outstanding Teen pageants. They also receive the opportunity to represent the Miss Sedgwick County Organization throughout their home states for the duration of their reign as well as a prize package selected by the Miss Sedgwick County directors.

All contestants for Miss Sedgwick County must participate in four areas of competition: private panel interview with the judges, talent, evening gown and onstage question. Women who live in Kansas and who are older than 17 years of age and younger than 25 years of age are eligible to compete in Miss Sedgwick County. Additionally, contestants must never have been married or given birth to a child.

All contestants for Miss Sedgwick County’s Outstanding Teen must participate in four areas of competition: private panel interview with the judges, talent, evening gown and onstage question. If you live in Kansas and are between the ages of 14 and 17, you may be eligible to compete for Miss Sedgwick County’s Outstanding Teen.
