About Miss River Raisin Festival Scholarship Pageant

The Miss River Raisin Scholarship Program is an official local competition in the Miss Michigan and Miss America Organizations. We EMPOWER young women through SERVICE and SCHOLARSHIP. The Miss America Organization is the largest scholarship program for women in the world, making available millions of dollars in college scholarship assistance each year. The Miss River Raisin Festival Scholarship Program has awarded thousands of scholarship dollars to Lenawee County young women. Experience is not needed. We prepare our candidates to be their "best self." They will find confidence, interview skills, personal empowerment, a love of service, encouragement, an opportunity to hone and present a talent, and a positive group of peers in our program. This is the only Miss Michigan/Miss America qualifying event in Lenawee County. The local competition is a highlight of the River Raisin Festival at 6 p.m. Friday, July 12, 2019, in Blissfield’s Bachmayer Park.
