About Miss Pacific Islander Utah Scholarship Pageant

Miss Pacific Islander Utah Scholarship Pageant is an official preliminary to the Miss Utah/Miss America Pageant, established in 1921, the single largest provider of scholarships for women in the world.

Contestants must be between the ages of 18-24 (17 will be allowed to compete if they will be graduating from high school this year). There will be 6 categories in which they will be judged:
Talent
Swimwear
Personal Interview
Formal
On Stage Question
Island Creation

In addition, each contestant will decide on a platform in which they will be an advocate for.

There will be a $1000 scholarship awarded to the winner and a $500 scholarship for the Island Creation category. It can be used towards tuition at an institution they are currently attending or planning to attend.
