Samantha Collins joined the Miss Kona Coffee organization in 2019 as our Awards Chair. She is a mom of two beautiful daughters who enjoys spending time with her family, dancing hula and traveling.

Kaili was our 1st Runner Up at our Miss Kona Coffee 2020 competition held in 2019 and was named Miss Congeniality. Kaili is currently a student at the University of Hawai'i at Manoa and is an accomplished gymnast & dancer.
Miss Kona Coffee and Miss Aloha Hawai’i are ambassadors, representing Hawai’i Island’s unique culture and heritage. They are committed to public service and empowering their fellow community members.
Candidates compete for scholarships and the opportunity to participate in the Miss Hawai’i and Miss America competitions. In 2021, the UCC Hawai'i Miss Kona Coffee Scholarship Competition will be held on November 5th at the Courtyard by Marriott King Kamehameha Kona Beach Hotel. Doors open at 5:30pm, with the competition beginning at 6:00pm sharp. Live seating is limited this year due to restrictions and as of September 15th, 2021, tickets are sold out. The Miss Kona Coffee Scholarship Competition is hosted by the Kona Coffee Cultural Festival each November, thanks to the support of Diamond Major Sponsor U.C.C., Ueshima Coffee Company, Ltd. The new Miss Kona Coffee will travel to Japan on a promotional tour for Kona coffee and the industry. In 2021, the Kona Coffee Cultural Festival will be celebrating 50 years through a Hybrid festival November 4-7th, 2021. All events will be available for viewing online with a ticket purchase!
The Miss Kona Coffee Scholarship Pageant is held at the beginning of the Kona Coffee Cultural Festival, allowing the new Miss Kona Coffee to attend and participate in the week’s festivities. To enter the Miss Kona Coffee Scholarship Pageant, the applicant must be between the ages of 17 and 25 and a high school graduate or equivalent, or a senior in high school. There are no physical requirements.
