About Miss Flat River Heritage

Miss Flat River Heritage & Miss Flat River Heritage’s Outstanding Teen is an official preliminary pageant to the Miss Michigan & Miss Michigan Outstanding Teen pageants. Each year, two winners are chosen to represent Miss Flat River Heritage at the Miss Michigan and Miss Michigan Outstanding Teen pageants. They also receive the opportunity to represent the Miss Door County Organization throughout their home states for the duration of their reign as well as a prize package selected by the Miss Flat River Heritage directors.

All contestants for Miss Flat River Heritage must participate in four areas of competition: private panel interview with the judges, talent, evening gown and onstage question. Women who live in Michigan and who are older than 17 years of age and younger than 25 years of age are eligible to compete in Miss Flat River Heritage. Additionally, contestants must never have been married or given birth to a child.

All contestants for Miss Door County’s Outstanding Teen must participate in four areas of competition: private panel interview with the judges, talent, evening gown and onstage question. If you live in Michigan and are between the ages of 14 and 17, you may be eligible to compete for Miss Door County’s Outstanding Teen.
