Miss Estrella Mauritius is the official preliminary pageant to the international Miss Universe pageant. The winner takes home the crown and her opportunity to represent Mauritius on an international stage.
To compete in Miss Estrella Mauritius, you have to live in Mauritius and be between the ages of 18 and 28 years old. Contestants compete in swimwear, interview and evening gown competitions.
