About Miss Cook Islands Pageants

Miss Cook Islands Association ('MCIA') is a non-profit organisation that owns and operates the Miss Cook Islands Pageant, based on Rarotonga, the Cook Islands.
Miss Cook Islands Association ('MCIA') is pleased to operate the Miss Cook Islands Pageant to support young Cook Islands women in their personal & professional development to become successful citizens of the Cook Islands and the global community.

Miss Cook Islands Association own the Cook Islands franchise rights for Miss World, Miss Earth and are now negotiating for Miss Universe.

Miss Cook Islands was originally founded in 1960 by a group of women on Rarotonga, the Cook Islands, led by Mrs Helen Henry. The organisation has undergone many changes since then. MCIA 2015 / 2016 is led by Mrs Dianna Clarke - Bates as President.

Miss Cook Islands actively competes at the annual Miss World and Miss Earth pageants. Miss Cook Islands has withdrawn participation at Miss Pacific Islands and focuses on the worlds biggest & best pageants that provide better opportunities for young Cook Islands women.

Miss Cook Islands 2015/2016 Natalia Short was a 'Top 20 Finalist' at Miss World 2016, Washington DC, USA.

Miss Cook Islands organises a wide range of community fundraising programs on Rarotonga, including cocktail parties, luncheons, dinners and many more. MCIA retails 'Miss Cook Islands' merchandise including t-shirts, bags, jewelry and more.
