Miss Clark County Scholarship Organization

The focus of the Miss Clark County Scholarship Organization is to pave a way for young women to showcase their abilities to be community leaders, role models, and provide an outlet for personal growth and scholarships.

History
Miss Clark County/Miss Clark County’s Outstanding Teen are preliminaries to Miss Washington/Miss Washington’s Outstanding Teen and Miss America/Miss America’s Outstanding Teen. Miss America started in 1921 by businessmen in Atlantic City as a way of extending the summer season. Years later, the Miss America Organization has become the world's largest provider of scholarship assistance for women. It is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to empowering young women to achieve their personal, professional and education goals. Miss America Organization instills a spirit of community service through a variety of unique national and community based programs. Records show that Miss Clark County began in 1949 and Miss Clark County’s Outstanding Teen began in 2006.
