About Miss America Latina Organization

Organizacion Miss America Latina, Inc., headquartered in Miami, Florida, USA produces the
MISS U.S. LATINA® national pageant annually, as well as the Miss Latina America® of the
World international pageant.

At the helm of this Organization is Acirema Alayeto, President and Founder of this Latin
American Pageant system, who has over 40 years experience in events and productions of
all types, the last 35 of those years dedicated to the genre of beauty pageants.

Governments and multinational companies have bestowed special recognitions to this
Organization and its President for the worthy objectives they have promoted with their work
throughout the years. (See some of those below.)

Since its inception, the Miss U.S. Latina® Pageant has always been produced by the same
organization and it is the official national preliminary to the international Miss Latin America®
of the World Pageant.

Personal Interview – to determine personality, culture, intellect, and qualifications to hold national title
Swimsuit – to determine physical condition and form
Evening Gown – to determine elegance, poise, beauty and grace
WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT
There is NO talent competition and NO minimum height requirements. Weight MUST be proportional to height.

English and Spanish are the official languages of the Miss U.S. Latina Pageant. It is NOT a requirement for contestants to speak Spanish, although it is encouraged. Interviews with judges will be conducted in the language the contestant feels most comfortable speaking.
