The Miss Mauritus national pageant is on August 1st and is an official preliminary to the Miss Universe Competition, as well as Miss Supranational, and Miss Asia Pacific International.

3 titleholders will be crowned, one of which will compete at Miss Universe, other at Miss Supranational and the third at Miss Asia Pacific International.
