Both. We allow both married and non-married contestants.
I first competed in this pageant in 2017 and I was awarded first runner up. I had such an amazing experience with this system and I came back the following year and won Junior Teen Placer County 2018. I was so blessed and honored to have the opportunity to represent my community. After winning my title, I was given the opportunity to go to a state pageant, where I was awarded first runner-up. This was such an amazing experience, from being able to coach with Up and have a team bonding weekend. My year in the royal court was incredible, filled with laughter, friendships, and sisterhood. Uppageantry provides a sisterhood like no other. With over 40 events throughout our year as royalty, we get a chance to bond with our sister queens, help out in our community, and develop new skills.
When I joined this pageant I immediately felt so welcomed by the staff and contestants. I competed twice and my second year I won Junior Teen Placer County 2018. I have been so blessed to have the opportunities this pageant gives me. We help out in our community, make new friends, memories, and get the opportunity to compete at a state level.
