2018 Miss Mid-South Fair - Ansley Ecker
Ansley Ecker is a 17 year old Senior at Munford High School where she is a member of the National Honor Society, Spanish Honor Society, Key Club, HOSA and DECA. Outside of school, Ansley is very busy with her volunteer work for the American Cancer Society, raising over $250,00 supporting research in finding a cure of cancer. She is also passionate on bringing attention and solutions to the growing epidemic of bullying by speaking to over 25 classrooms and volunteering over 1200 hours in her community. Ansley also has a heart for young children and has led donation drives for toys, personal care items and financial support for the Children’s Miracle Network hospitals in Memphis and Nashville.
Ansley and her parents had always made the Mid-South Fair a cherished family tradition from the time she was old enough to ride the ferris wheel. Her fondest memories were when her classmates could all go to the Mid-South Fair together to enjoy the rides, play carnival games, and eat all the fantastic carnival food. Her favorite has always been the funnel cakes, so this year as Miss Mid-South Fair, she made it a goal to try every flavor.
