Top 10 Headshots of Miss Georgia 2017
10. Miss Flint River, Darlyn Davis
This was Darlyn's first time competing at Miss Georgia. She walked away with the non-finalist talent and interview awards. Part of her success in interview can be attributed to this gorgeous headshot!
Darlyn shows off her sweet southern charm with her mega volume curls. The yellow top is simple and keeps the attention on her face. Her smile is incredible and truly shines paired with her natural makeup and pink lipstick.

9. Miss Fayette County, Gabrielle D. Alessandra
Another great example of using an extreme close-up for a headshot. The Savannah Chrisley look-alike chose an orange top to complement her golden skin and brown eyes. Since this is an extreme close-up, the big, bold gold accessories are a great pairing with the simple top to add detail and interest in the photo.
The angle also draws attention to Gabrielle's flattering bob. The tousled curls are big and airy and highlight her jawline and cheekbones. Overall, a fantastic photo!

8. Miss Stone Mountain, Rosa Karina Campos
Another stunning photo from this class! This headshot is simple but classy.
The black top has beautiful pleating in the front that adds dimension to the photo. She kept her accessories minimal but impactful. The gold pairs beautifully with the black top as well as her skin tone and hair.
Her pose is creative and unique. But, it looks natural. This helps the photo stand out in the group. Considering she made the Top 10, this photo is definitely a hit.

7. Miss Gwinnett County, Emily Harlow
The outfit makes this photo. There is a lot going on, however, Emily kept everything in a neutral color family so it all works together.
The brown jacket is a great material with beautiful stitching. It is the perfect base to build on with accessories. She builds on the gold zipper of the jacket with layers of gold chains and pearls.
The pearls are also a smart choice. Pearls are associated with elegance. Since they are not as shiny as other gemstones, she can layer a lot more without overpowering the photo. Overall, the look is perfectly put together to help enhance her beauty to create a gorgeous photo!

6. Miss Altamaha, Destiny Levant
This top is gorgeous. It is very busy, but the detail is so unique and the photo is close enough that it works. If the entire top was in the photo, it would be overpowering. However, only a portion of it is visible, which prevents the top from being the star of the show.
The angle also helps. The upward angle puts Destiny's face in the foreground of the photo, making it the first thing the eye is drawn to. The top is in the middle ground of the photo, which softens its impact. Her hair and makeup are simple to balance out the busy the top.

Alexa looks stunning with her long, blonde, perfectly curled locks. Her makeup highlights her incredible eyes and bone structure. She has a smile that can light up a room, which beams in this photo. Overall, a beautiful sweet impression for the judges!
