The Miss Earth New Zealand Pageant aims to raise the awareness of environmental issues nationally and internationally, and develop the skills of young leaders that will help build, protect, and sustain New Zealand’s wildlife and eco-system.

Miss Earth New Zealand is carried out to assure that each of the participating candidates is environmentally knowledgeable. The winner of Miss Earth New Zealand will serve as the New Zealand Ambassador internationally at Miss Earth.
