Petite Miss 8-9 years. Compete in interview, casual wear, photogenic, and long pageant dress. Entry Fee $90
Junior Miss 10-12 years. Compete in interview, casual wear, photogenic, and long pageant dress. Entry Fee $90
Teen Miss 13-15 years. Compete in interview, casual wear, photogenic, and long pageant dress. Entry Fee $90
Miss 16-19 years. (Never married or pregnant) Compete in interview, casual wear, photogenic, and long pageant dress. Miss winner will receive $300 scholarship (amount will increase based on number of contestants!) Payable to her upon successful completion of her reign. Entry Fee $100
Ms. 20-up. (Married/single/mother) Compete in interview, casual wear, photogenic and long pageant dress. Entry Fee $90
This pageant is open to any girl in the Tri State area! Appearances and parades are based in the Wiregrass area. We are a VERY active group of queens and have a fun filled year!
Queens will receive a round purple crown, embroidered banner, embroidered parade blanket, personalized crown bucket, various prizes donated by local businesses, ride in the National Peanut Festival Parade, and a year of amazing memories and appearances.
Best dressed, and casual wear winners will receive a medallion. Photogenic and Interview Winners will receive a rhinestone pin!
EVERY Baby, Tiny, Future Little, and Little Miss contestant will receive a participation crown onstage. Petite and older contestants receive a participation medallion! With 40 contestants the queens will receive fully stoned banners! All contestants receive goody bags donated by various local businesses.
Photogenic, must be an 8x10 and in color. it will be turned in at the contestants party. It is included in the Queen score and in your entry fees.
Interview. You may wear your casual wear, Interview dress, or suit for interview. Interviews will be a panel and 3-5 minutes (depending on # of contestants). It is included in your Queen score and in your entry fees. Interviews will be videotaped with the option to purchase your own only for $10
Casual Wear. This will be an outfit that you would wear on an appearance as a Queen. There will be upbeat music for you to model to. This is included in your Queen score and in your entry fee.
Door admission will be $10 per person. Contestants and visiting queens are free.
We will have 4 judges and drop the lowest score!! Score sheets are available to purchase for $5 and will be given out immediately after the pageant.
Enter before May 1st and receive $10 off your entry fees. For every contestant you refer, you receive $5 off. Deadline to enter is June 1st. Entry fees are non-refundable.
There will be a Miss Angel Cover Girl crowned. She will be the contestant that sold the most ads in the program book. She will be on the cover of the program book, receive a crown and banner and reign with the Angels all year. Ad prices are $15/business card, $30 for a 1/2 page, and $50 for a full page. Program Books are 4"x5". Every contestant receives one program book free. All contestants are required to sell 1 ad. For every full page sold, you will receive $10 off your entry fees. Contestant photos can be put on the ½ and full page ads. Ads can be emailed to [email protected] or snail mailed. Deadline is June 1st. Program books are sold for $3 each. Judges will not have access to books.
There will be a Miss Angel Princess crowned. This will be the one girl in the entire pageant with the most votes. Votes are $1 per vote and must be turned in at the contestant's party. She will receive a crown, embroidered banner, and reign with the Angels all year.
We will crown a Miss Angel Ambassador 2016. This title will be based on your community service. You will turn in a scrapbook by June 8th to Wiregrass Angel House. Their board will judge these based on hours served in your community, letters from your volunteer coordinators/community leaders/etc, and overall appearance of the book. This will not affect the age division titles, and the pageant judges will not see the scrapbooks. There will be no additional fees for this title, you must compete in the 2016 pageant to be eligible, Queen will receive a round crown, banner, and reign with the Angels all year, and this title will be crowned at the 2016 pageant.
Pageant Hair and Makeup is encouraged for all ages. We are considered semi-glitz. There are no practices, it is walk of choice. Contestants will be able to practice on the stage beforehand.
Party time!!! We will have a luau party Saturday June 11, 4-6 pm for the contestants and their p
