Miss Dixie State University represents Dixie State University to the community and to the state of Utah. Her purpose is to serve the students and community. Miss Dixie State University Scholarship Competition is an official preliminary to the Miss Utah Scholarship Competition. The winner of Miss Dixie State University will go on to compete at Miss Utah and potentially to compete at Miss America
