Central States U.S. United is open to contestants ages 7 and older. We have 3 Plus divisions for those size 16 and up (Miss 18-29, Ms. 30-45 and unmarried, and Mrs. 30-45 and married/living with spouse.) Our national platform is Breast Cancer Awareness, and you are encouraged to promote your personal platform as well! Our inaugural pageant will be held in March 2023 in Springfield, MO for competitors from Arkansas, Kansas, Missouri and Oklahoma. Categories of competition are Interview (40%,) Fun Fashion (30%) and Evening Gown (30%.) All contestants are automatically considered for the Spirit of Pageantry and People's Choice Awards. The Spirit of Pageantry award is sponsored by Pageantry Magazine at the national level.
Optionals are $15 and include:
-Talent: 3 minutes of performing a talent of your choice. No fire or projectiles allowed.
-Best In: Overall style score from all required phases of competition.
-Portfolio: 5-10 photos in a physical modeling portfolio. These may be color or black and white.
-Photogenic: 2 professional photos, 4x6 or 8x10. May not be older than 3 years.
-Community Service: Bring a scrapbook demonstrating your contributions to your community! Chronological order beginning with the most recent.
-Community Impact: List your community service hours and provide evidence including letters or photos.
-Rip the Runway: Haute Couture-style modeling showcasing your individual style.
Division winners will continue on to compete at the national U.S. United pageant in Atlanta, GA July 26-30, 2023. You are responsible for your $545 finalist fee. Your $200 application and pageant fees will be waived as a regional winner.
