At America’s Civic Miss, we celebrate the multifaceted qualities that make women truly exceptional. Our organization is dedicated to recognizing and honoring women who excel in various aspects of life, including academics, community involvement, work skills, and leadership abilities. We believe in the power of education, confidence, and individuality.
Empowering Excellence and Elegance
America’s Civic Miss was conceived to blend outstanding achievement with grace and sophistication. As a contestant vying for one of the prestigious America’s Civic Miss titles, you will become part of a program that highlights women's accomplishments in diverse fields. We honor academic prowess, school and community engagement, work expertise, effective communication, leadership skills, and the unique traits that make you, you.
ROCK Your Crown Platform
Central to our mission is the ROCK Your Crown Platform, a movement designed to empower girls and women to become the best versions of themselves. This platform places a strong emphasis on leadership, community involvement, self-confidence, and kindness. We understand that true beauty lies within and that self-assuredness is crucial in today's world. Active participation in your communities is equally vital. Our queens and contestants lead by setting positive examples in these areas.
A Future Non-Profit Initiative
ROCK Your Crown is more than just a concept; it's a future Non-Profit program aimed at providing young girls and women with equal opportunities. Proceeds from the America's Civic Miss Pageant will go towards launching and sustaining the ROCK Your Crown Program. Scholarships will be offered to young girls and women to enable their participation in extracurricular activities such as dance, gymnastics, piano lessons, karate, and sports, among others. We firmly believe that every girl should have the chance to engage in events that enrich their future, regardless of financial constraints.
Areas of Competition
Our competition features the following components:
Role Model (25%): Contestants are evaluated based on their community service and work experience, school and community involvement, academic and work achievements, and the creativity of their binder.
Interview (25%): This segment assesses confidence, personality, and speaking ability.
Evening Gown (25%): The epitome of elegance, this section judges contestants on eye contact, poise, grace, and confidence.
Self Expression (25%): Contestants design a T-shirt that showcases their individual style and create a 30-second video introducing themselves and their T-shirt. Creativity and confidence while wearing the T-shirt during interviews are the key criteria.
Optional Competitions
We also offer optional competitions, including Talent, Supermodel, Recyclewear, Covermodel, Essayist, and Artist.
AMERICA’S CIVIC MISS: ROCK Your Crown
Join us for a pageant experience like no other! America’s Civic Miss focuses on the complete package: role model, self-expression, interview, and evening gown. Our Nationals are scheduled to take place in Caribou, Maine from August 11-13, 2023, and you can choose to compete in person or virtually. Stay tuned for more updates and details.
