Open only to residents of Shenandoah County, girls between the ages of 2 yrs thru 23 yrs (as of 8.21.21), may compete for the chance to serve as a representative of the 2021 Shenandoah County Fair. In addition, they will make appearances throughout the year at events, parades, and also attend queen-only events.
A scholarship program, all Miss contestants (between ages of 16-23) will be competing for $1,000 in educational scholarships to help them fund their academic studies. In addition, the winner will move on to the Virginia Association of Fairs Scholarship Pageant in January 2022, where she will have the opportunity to compete for over $4,000 in educational scholarships.
Age divisions for this year’s pageant are as follows: Tiny (2-3 yrs) * Little (4-6 yrs) * Young (7-9 yrs) * Pre-Teen (10-12 yrs) * Jr Miss (13-15 yrs) *Miss (16-23 yrs)
*Contestants must enter the age division for the age they will be on August 21st, no exceptions. The Miss division is open to age 23 for this year only to allow those who may have aged out in 2020 the chance to compete one final year (this is based on the VAF rule).
The 2021 pageant will be held on Saturday, August 21st at Central High School (1147 Susan Ave – Woodstock, VA).
Day Pageant (Tiny Miss * Little Miss * Young Miss) – 10AM
Evening Pageant (Pre-Teen Miss * Jr Miss * Miss) – 5PM
Program books will be on sale at both pageants and sold in advance to contestants.
