About Miss Carroll County Scholarship Competition

An official preliminary competition of Miss Maryland for young women aged 13 to 24. Win scholarships, promote your cause, and compete at Miss Maryland!

Eligibility Requirements

To compete in the "Miss" category, you must:
Must be at least 17 by contestant's first Local Pageant but no older than 24. Must not turn 25 before Dec 31st.
Single, never been married, and have no children.
Live, work full-time, or attend school full time in Maryland.
Be at least a high school senior.
Must be a US Citizen
Meet character criteria as set forth by the Miss America Organization.
Be able to meet the time commitment and responsibilities as set forth by the local program in which you compete.
Be able to meet the time commitment and responsibilities as set forth by the Miss Maryland program should you win the title.
Should you win a local title, raise $250.00 for the Miss America National Platform: Children's Miracle Network.

To compete in the "Teen" category, you must:
Be a young lady between the ages of 13 and 17
Be a United States citizen.
Meet residency requirements for competing in a Maryland.
Meet character criteria as set forth by the Miss America’s Outstanding Teen Organization.
Be in reasonably good health to meet the job requirements.
Be able to meet the time commitment and responsibilities as set forth by the local program in which you compete.
Meet the $100 local sponsorship fee payable to the Community Foundation of Carroll County
Must not be eligible to compete in the Miss America Competition.

To compete in the "Pre-Teen" category, you must:
Contestants must be at least 10 yrs old and no older than 12 years old as of April 28.
Meet the $100 sponsorship fee payable to the Community Foundation of Carroll County
Contestants must be residents of the State of Maryland
