Miss All American Beauty: Scoring & Guidelines

At Miss All American Beauty, we take pride in our transparent scoring and guidelines. To ensure fairness, here's how our competition is scored:

Scoring:

Our judging panel consists of 5 professionals who use a scale of 1 to 10 for each contestant in each phase of competition. To maintain fairness, the highest and lowest scores in each phase are dropped. Contestants won't have access to their scores at the end of the pageant.

Interview (25% of the score):

Contestants will participate in a panel interview with our judges on Sunday morning after the preliminary competition. Interview attire is the contestant's choice. The interview lasts approximately 2 to 3 minutes and is scored based on interview skills, personality, poise, and conversation with the judges.

Runway (25% of the score):

Contestants hit the stage and walk like supermodels. Runway outfits should showcase their fashion sense and personality while being age-appropriate. Scoring is based on modeling ability, stage presence, and personality.

Evening Gown (25% of the score):

Contestants wear a formal gown of their choice. Judges consider the contestant's grace, gown selection, fit, and how the gown is presented. Age-appropriateness is also taken into account.

Fitness/Swimsuit (25% of the score):

This segment is designed to demonstrate that contestants are in good shape and confident in their skin. Junior Teen & Teen contestants wear a fitness outfit of their choice, while Miss contestants wear a swimsuit of their choice.

Note: Preliminary scoring for the fitness/swimsuit competition is not open to the public. It's a closed scoring competition where 10 contestants at a time are scored in a single-file lineup. The top ten contestants from the preliminary round compete individually in front of the audience.

Final Scoring:

During the preliminary night, each phase of the competition carries a score of 25%. This will determine the top 10 contestants in each division (Junior Teen, Teen, and Miss). In the finals, the composite score from the preliminary night makes up 25% of the final score. The remaining 75% comes from Runway, Evening Gown, and Fitness/Swimsuit segments.
