he moved to New York City just days after high school graduation to pursue her acting career. After a couple of years of performing in New York City and throughout the country she attended and then graduated from The Juilliard School, New York City where she studied acting. She still pursues acting and singing. Her most notable roles have been The Good Cop and The Blacklist.
Joy is a memorable face for most that attend the National American Miss national pageant. She is well known for serenading contestants during the final show at the national pageant each year.
