My name is Tina Kanonuhwa, and I am representing Maryland. I was born in Missouri, but moved to 2 other states and 5 elementary schools by the time I was 10 years old. In 2013, I moved from my hometown of Atlanta to Baltimore to attend Johns Hopkins University, where I graduated with a degree in Public Health Studies. Because of my many relocations, I have always been fond of making appearances at events, traveling for my new passion of modeling, and giving back to the community. It is through my passion for community outreach, healthcare, and spokesmodeling, that I was able to progress from an intern to a program coordinator at a local nonprofit. Recently, I have had to opportunity to live out my dream of modeling through my title of Miss Globe Maryland United States. I am a go-getter, and I plan on bringing the crown back to the United States at Miss Globe international pageant.
