Madyson Marie Fraime is your America’s National Jr. Teenager 2018. She is 15 years old, and currently dual enrolled at Columbus State, where she is working on her Associates of Science with plans to have it completed by May of 2019. She has plans to enroll in a four-year institution to pursue a career as a Certified Nurse Practitioner. Her favorite classes are anything involving STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Math).
Madyson is a nine-year member of Girl Scouts of Ohio’s Heartland and working on her Gold Award project. She is a youth ambassador for both the American Cancer Society and Susan G. Komen – Columbus, with regards to breast cancer. She is the creator of Madyson’s World and organizer of her own breast cancer program called “Praise in Pink”, which bring resources to the local community. As well as an active member of LeaderSpark Inc, Franklin County Youth Council, Rise Sister Rise, Youth to Youth International, The National Society of High School Scholars and National Honor Society.
She loves to stay busy, so when she is not studying, she likes to volunteer in her community, whether that’s working with the American Cancer Society on the Making Strides walk, Susan G. Komen on the Race for a Cure, Planning Praise in Pink, working with St. Jude Children’s Hospital on fundraising events or baking at Ronald McDonald House she enjoys helping others, and spending time with her family and friends.
