Miss Alabama USA 2015, Madison Guthrie, who competed as Miss Hoover, took home the crown in a black pageant gown that won over the judges. The sweetheart neckline is enhanced by a low cut scalloped effect bordering a plunging neckline. The bodice of the gown is fully covered in black beading to add sparkle underneath the stage lights. At mid-thigh, the bottom of this evening gown transitions to a sheer skirt, broken up by an ultra-high slit. To me, it just looks like this gown is a size too big and thus the extra fabric in her mid-section is incredibly distracting. Additionally, the distance between the top of the bodice and the top of the slit shortens her torso and her killer body doesn’t necessarily translate. I hate to say, but this dress is a MISS for me. I am confident, though, that Madison will WOW us on the Miss USA stage. What are your thoughts on this gown?
