Why start competing in pageants

I have been competing since I was a young child. When I began, it was definitely the glitz and glamour of it all that drew me to pageantry. While I still very much love the glitz and glam, the opportunities for building relationships with strong pageant sisters, advocating for my passions, and the opportunity to set and achieve personal goals through pageantry keep me competing.
