Liz Bernard, a native of Columbia, Kentucky, has been
proud to call Bowling Green home since moving there in 1999 to attend
Western Kentucky University, where she studied Communications and
American Humanics. Liz is fiercely devoted to her community and serves
with a number of organizations. She sits on the Boards of Directors of The
Alliance of Kentucky Boys & Girls Clubs, The Women’s Fund of South
Central Kentucky, and the Downtown Redevelopment Authority. She is
also a member of the Kiwanis Club and a proud Kentucky Colonel. Liz is
the founder and owner of Zingarella, an apparel, accessories and gift
company, and is the CEO of the Boys & Girls Club of Bowling Green. In
her spare time, Liz enjoys singing, traveling, following WKU athletics,
fashion and DIY projects.
Liz has been involved in pageantry her entire life and in all capacities, from competing to consulting and directing. After a 10 year retirement from competing, she returned to pageantry as a way to build relationships with strong women making a difference and to set and achieve new personal goals. As Ms. US 2018, Liz advocates for young people everywhere through her passion and platform, The Boys & Girls Clubs of America. She hopes to amplify her voice for our youth and inspire every young person to reach their full potential.
